Downtown Conway Great for Students

Downtown Conway boasts some of the most eclectic of shops ever presented by a small town's downtown shopping area. From trashy lingerie to high-end antiques, unique children's clothes to mystical and spiritual memorabilia, downtown Conway has it all. No matter what random item a Hendrix student is searching for, they can probably find it just a few blocks away from Campus.
The most unique store in downtown Conway is located on Van Ronkle, just down the road from Walgreens. Spirit's Landing is small store, which specializes in mystical and spiritual memorabilia as well as products for customers interested in witchcraft. Spirit's Landing offers a large variety of incense, aromatherapy candles and books that cover a wide array of spiritual topics. Any student looking to further their knowledge in different spiritual and mystical beliefs should head to Spirit's Landing.
Just down the block and around on Front Street are two very different clothing stores. Shenanigans is a unique children's clothing, furniture and accessory store that offers a large variety of adorable children's accessories. The clothes are charming and the store is beautifully decorated in fun, bright colors, making each trip to the store an exciting trip. Children and parents alike will enjoy the unique clothes and the delightful store while shopping at Shenanigans.
Across the street from Shenanigans is another retail store of a different nature. Dori's Secret is well known by locals because it has long been the only lingerie store in Conway. Although it has recently changed locations from the original store on Oak Street, customers can still find their way to this rather odd store. Stocked full with scandalous nightgowns and novelty items, Dori's Secret is definitely a good place to head when in a hurry to find something naughty. The owner is very nice and always happy to assist new customers. Just beware of her pet shit-zu, who is extremely friendly when it comes to customers.
Dancers will appreciate the Kicks ActiveWear store located on Oak Street, just up from the Markham intersection. This specialty dance store carries several different brands of leotards, ballet slippers, jazz slippers, and accessories. This store is a great place to find the perfect attire for any dance class or dance activity. With frequent sales and a student discount, shopping at Kicks is both convenient and affordable.
Shoppers can also find several other specialty stores in downtown Conway, including a bookstore, music store, day spa, wedding and formal dress shop, video game store, and many, many, many pawn shops and antique stores/flea markets.
