For some in the audience last Saturday night, Dominque Sanchez, the emcee of Miss Hendrix, was a little too dirty.
Students voiced concerns about the potential problems that could result from harassment by Sanchez.
Senior Andy Koehler said: "While she's here, she's a representative of Hendrix. I think the College should be concerned about [her behavior]."
Seniors Molly Hutchinson and Nathan Large were unexpectedly brought from the audience on stage, in front of an estimated 800 people, and Hutchinson was called an obscenity.
Philip Adams, director of Miss Hendrix, gave names of people sitting at the tables and in the VIP section to familiarize and localize the show for Sanchez. But neither he nor anyone associated with Campus Kitty encouraged her behavior.
"We recommended that next year's committee not ask them back," Adams said.
Senior Erin Alexander, a Miss Hendrix dancer, said, "They took away from the amount of work the students did."
