Dear Students,
The Student Senate would like to thank you for your feedback on the final examination scheduling.
Due to your input, we have been able to work with the faculty and administration to implement several beneficial changes.
First, we have ensured that the library will not close early on any day before a final exam. Second, finals will no longer be scheduled on Saturday, giving students an extra day to study in the middle of final exams. Finally, the last day of classes will be Monday, instead of Tuesday, with finals beginning on Wednesday.
With this alteration, students will be able to focus more of their weekend studying on preparing for finals instead of two regular class days.
The Student Senate would specifically like to thank Dr. Resinski and Dr. Campbell for their concern and strong advocacy for the students. Please note that the final examination schedule changes do not take effect until next year.
Sincerely,
Christian Hester
