We are already a few weeks into fall, and many of Hendrix's fall sports teams are well into successful seasons in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC). Most notably is the women's soccer team, which right now has the best record of all Hendrix teams, as it currently stands at 6-2-2 (2-2 SCAC).

Jumping on the bandwagon, I recently saw The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and surprisingly, I really enjoyed the movie. Unlike the rest of the world, I was never a Twilight fan. I definitely don't have anything against it; it just doesn't excite me the way it does so many others.

Sinclair Lewis infamously warned "when fascism comes to America it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross" and it seems the Bible-thumping flag wavers are once again showcasing their cultural and historical ignorance here in America.
At issue is a 15-story community center and Islamic prayer space set to be built roughly two to three blocks from Ground Zero in New York.

Two cars collide. Traffic stops. People get out of their cars and contact information is exchanged. Insurance providers take over the communication process and reach a settlement. This is what you, a paying costumer expect from your insurance company. In Texas however, two major insurance companies are under investigation for having the highest numbers of complaints, the Associated Press reports.

Well, Pittsburg, get ready to meet the Bo Jackson of Kansas. The Deion Sanders
of the Wheat State and the Michael Jordan of the Midwest.
What do all of these athletes have in common? The fact that they all competed in two separate sports at the professional level.

It seems like girls have all the fun, and it sucks. You often hear about "Girls' Night Out," while the guys are left to their own devices. Women have "Painting with a Twist," where they can go drink wine with their girlfriends and learn how to paint; "Slumber Parties," where they drink, talk about men and buy sex toys; and numerous other events aimed at female bonding.

Mostly out of curiosity, I decided to experience the ancient practice of fasting.
Knowing that it would be a bad idea to jump into it blindfolded, I did some research. I discovered the main benefit is the detoxification of organs.
